The Former Art Faculty of Marlboro College - A Tribute

June 1, 2021 - August 14, 2021

The Marlboro Community Center is happy to present “The Former Art Faculty of Marlboro College - A Tribute” an exhibit which focuses on many of the visual artists who taught at Marlboro College over the years. It reveals their diverse output and approaches to image making.

Included in the show are works by painters Frank Stout, Win Tuttle, Gib Taylor, Marin Robinson, and Cathy Osman. Sculptor and collagist Tim Segar. Sculptor William Ransom. Ceramists Malcolm Wright, Michael Boylen, Martina Lantin, Roberto Lugo, Megan Jorgenson and David Eichelberger. Furniture maker and carver Roy Sheldon. Photographers John Willis and Hilary Baker. And digital artist Amy Beecher. Other artists who have worked at the college are acknowledged with a narrative on the wall at the Center. We are grateful to many local families for generous loans of works by these artists as well as from the artists themselves.

A reception for the artists will be held on Thursday, July 22nd from 5:30 to 7 pm.  Everyone is invited.  The show is on view during open hours of the Center. Closing on Saturday, Aug 14th.
