Building Community Connections

Volunteering at the Community Center is a great way to get involved in the Town of Marlboro and make new connections.  With over 80 visitors a week, events hosted throughout the year, and dedicated committees for specific aspects of our work, the Marlboro Community Center is a great place to meet a wide variety of local people and help build community.

The Marlboro Community Center is a part of the Brattleboro Food Co-op’s Commitment to Community Program.  Brattleboro Food Co-op shareholders who volunteer with us for 2 hours a month are eligible for a 5% discount when shopping at the Co-op.  Details on how to access this benefit are given to all our active volunteers.

What Can I Do?

Volunteering for the Community Center takes many different forms!  We are always seeking help with baking, cleaning, maintenance and repairs, setting up for events, and staffing open hours.  If you have a special skill you’d like to offer in service of our mission, please let us know!
