"Word and Image" Art Show Reception

The Annual Theme Art Show this year is Word and Image. 

The exhibit is from October 22nd through January 3rd. The Marlboro Community Center invites participation in this year’s theme, Word and Image. Participants could choose to submit work from either side of the dialogue – words that stem from images with accompanying reproductions, or images that stem from words with accompanying texts. Alternatively, participants can submit works that deal with the tension between word and image. Participants might choose to submit jointly with someone – an artist with a writer, a Writer with an artist  – All possibilities are encouraged. Submissions are due Monday, October 20th, 12 pm - 2 pm. 

An evening reception, reading, and discussion where the interchange of words and images can be expressed and shared will take place on November 14th 4 pm - 6 pm.
