About the event
Rides of between an hour and two hours with time afterward to celebrate the season and the bicycling community - gravel, trail, and family recreational options, including a ride to a swim in South Pond.
Rides include both gravel (mostly) and paved (some) roads. Best bikes to bring are gravel and trail bikes. Maps/cue sheets will be available. Helmets registration and release form required.
We will gather at the Marlboro Community Center at 12:30. Please eat beforehand.
12:30 - Registration
1:00 – 1:30 – First Rides (longer distance) depart
1:15 – 2:00 Flat repair, derailleur and brake adjustment demo
1: 45 – 2:00 – – Medium ride departs – hills!
2:30 – Family rides to the pond. Trail rides through Ames’ woods
3:30 – 4:30 – After ride refreshments – cider, donuts, cheese and bread, snacks and (limited) beer.
$25.00 Family – $15.00 Individuals – $5.00 - non-riding visitors.
